About the event
Join us on the 30th anniversary of abortion decriminalization in Canada, as we critically assess the national and global state of self-managed abortion. This two-day conference invites experts to explore the current conditions in the context of novel global flows of information, materials and regulation. Under what conditions today do women choose or need to self-manage abortion? What are women’s experiences of and shared knowledge about self-sourced abortion, and how do we ethically access those stories to help support and acknowledge these experiences? This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
